The Rally Fighter Custom Car Skins Competition saw the participation of about 50 graphic artists and car lovers from the Local Motors community, who competed to design "the most desirable exterior for the Rally Fighter".

Inspiration was taken from fighters, desert landscapes, planes, pilots, and racers.  

The winners, voted by the Local Motors community are the "T.I. Stallion" skin by Derek Salgado, the "USAF" skin by Yan Gstv and the "Under Attack" skin by Alex Drobokov.

According to Local Motors, Rally Fighter customers will be able to host their very own Custom Car Skin Competitions to obtain unique designs based on individual specifications. 

The wraps are applied after the Customer Build Experience.  These vinyl wraps are recyclable, customizable, and even help reduce the weight of the vehicle by about 40-100 pounds as compared to paint. 

Rally Fighters are available for reservation at www.local-motors.com. The Rally Fighter customer Build Experience will begin this Summer, 6/8/10.
