Quattroruote and Virtual Car have revealed that Volkswagen Director of Creative Design Flavio Manzoni will be Ferrari's next Head of Design, effective 1st January 2010.

According to the first unofficial information, his task will be to establish a new in-house Styling Center - until now all the production models have been designed by Pininfarina - and to build a new brand's identity.

Manzoni will report directly to Chief Executive Officer Amedeo Felisa. It is still uncertain what position will be taken by Donato Coco, Ferrari's current Design Director.
