DesignerTechniques was founded in 2006 by designer Allan MacDonald and reviewed by Car Body Design just after its launch.

In these three years it has become one of the most well-known sources for high-quality car drawing tutorials.

It has also featured three exclusive design competitions and a number of articles and interviews which represent a valuable material for aspiring designers.

More recently, the website has received a major restyling.

Among the new features are the wider format with page-centered pages, which will allow for larger images and improved readability; general graphic and logo updates; improved functionality, in particular for the gallery, which will include a higher number of works from the readers' submissions.

It is also possible to follow DesignerTechniques on Facebook, where visitors can share their thoughts and ideas.
