Bryan Nesbitt is new Cadillac general manager

General Motors has announced that Bryan Nesbitt – currently vice president of GM North America Design – will be General Manager for the Cadillac brand, effective 1st August 2009 and reporting directly to vice chairman Bob Lutz.


Vice president of GM North America Design Bryan Nesbitt will has been appointed General Manager for the Cadillac brand, effective August 1st, 2009. He will report directly the vice chairman Bob Lutz.

The news was announced by the NY Times and Automotive News magazine and confirms Lutz’s statement that General Motors is going to be more and more design-driven in the next future.

Among Nesbitt’s previous projects are the Chrysler Composite Concept Vehicle (1997), PT Cruiser and Chevrolet HHR and – more recently – the Opel Insignia.
