The Savage Rivale Roadyacht GTS project was started by Dutch sudents Emile Pop and Justin de Boer in 2007. The first 1:1 scale prototype was unveiled at Top Marques Monaco on last 16 April 2009.
The four-door, four-seater coupe has a foldable / retractable glass drop top
which can be closed / opened in 20 seconds.
"The design is influenced by movies such as Miami Vice, with their violent atmospheres and car chases." The design also expresses several contrasting elements: day/night, black/white, hard/soft.
"The design was inspired by three animals, the crab, the bull
and the venom, in a front cab setting."
The exterior is characterized by a yacht-inspired two-tone paint scheme, the strong side character line and the absence of the B-pillars.
The main proportions are defined by a length of 4,550 mm, a width of 1,98 mm, a height of 1,156 mm and a wheelbase of 2,700mm.
The designers, currently looking for investors, have the goal of a limited productions series of 20 units - 4 per year - starting from 2010.

The Savage Rivale Roadyacht GTS will adopt the Corvette ZR1's powertrain, chosen for the weight distribution of its transaxle layout. The car structure is a hand-welded molybdenum chrome steel tubular chassis, combined with carbon-fiber body panels. This will allow to achieve a total weight of 1,280 kg.

Below we report some pictures that document the development process, from the construction of the 1:4 and 1:1 clay models, to the design and construction of the tubular chassis.
