Guild of Motoring Writers and MIPAA (Motor Industry Public Affairs Association) members are invited to the inaugural symposium: ‘How to Evaluate Car Design’, held in association with Coventry University.
It will take place on 4 June at the university, with a cost of £10.
Star speakers include retired Land Rover design director Geoff Upex. During more than 20 years, Geoff earned a reputation as styling guru behind the Range Rover, Discovery and new Freelander.
The programme will start at 9am. There are presentations from numerous other speakers at the top of their game in automotive design, covering such topics as industrial design, principal elements and facelifts.
In the afternoon, there will be a car design workshop in which participants will get together with top stylists to create their very own vehicle from scratch. " As a memento, participants will receive a top-quality CAD design of their creations."
