Mitsubishi has released some preview images of its i MiEV Sport Air electric concept vehicle, which will debut at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show. Among the features are the long wheelbase and a clear removable top.

The i MiEV Sport Air Concept all-electric zero CO2 emission sportscar focused on performance, with a lithium-ion battery pack located within its long wheelbase and a low centre of gravity.

Defined by Mitsubishi as "a new-age pocket rocket", the concept will the give hints on the "direction in which the Mitsubishi sports EV may take in the future."

The i MiEV Sport Air Concept will be premiered at the forthcoming 2009 Geneva Motor Show.
