Protoscar Lampo preview
At the 2009 Geneva Motor Show Swiss design company Protoscar will unveil the Lampo, a concept car that combines a dynamic cabriolet design with an all-electric powertrain.
The Lampo will be powered by two electric motors (one rear – and one front- mounted), optimized for
maximizing acceleration and regenerative braking respectively.
They deliver a total output of 268 hp and a constant
torque of over 440 Nm from 0 to 5,000 rpm.
The lightweight Lithium-Ion battery pack with a capacity of 35kWh allows for a range of
over 200 km. Recharges can be done using every standard EU
plug.
Additional information and pictures will be released closer to the official debut at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show.
