The i-Shoes Concept was the winner in the Best Xperience category at the Interior Motives Design Awards 2008. It was designed by Yang Liu from Northumbria University, UK.

i-Shoes is an electric flying board that can float and move at speeds of up to 20 mph thanks to a system of five fans - one four ontroling the direction . The user can change direction by moving his center of gravity.

i-Shoes has a portable design, can be used at night thanks to the integrated lights and can be recharged at home or at office.
