The Master is aimed at providing designers an insight into the overall development process typical of the automotive industry, with a particular attention to virtual modelling, interior design and materials and colors research.
It is organized in partnership with Fiat Group Automobiles, which already supports Milan University's academic activities by offering internsips and work experiences in the field of car design.
Fiat will provide part of the teaching staff and will offer internships in its Styling Centers to 10 students each year.
The Master is open to students with a degree in Industrial Design, Architecture or Engineering with a maximum number of 30 participants and provides 60 Academic Credits.
The courses will start on October 2008 and end on December 2009, for a total of 1,500 hours of lessons.
The deadline for submitting participation requests is 19 September 2008.
The Master in Trasportation & Automobile Design is promoted by the Faculty of Design and organized by INDACO Department (Industrial Design, Arts and Fashion).
