The Lancia Aprilia Sport is the result of Zagato Atelier's project started back in 2006 and aimed at creating an exact replica of the 1937 Aprilia Sport, produced in 3-4 units which no longer exist.

The Aprilia Sport by Zagato is powered by the original unit that equipped the 1937 car (thanks to Graziano Mancini for the tip).
The unit delivers 48 hp at 4,300 rpm and allows for a top speed of 126 km/h. Among the features are the hand-beaten body panels.
Based on the standard Aprilia model, the Aprilia Sport by Zagato, nicknamed "Aerodinamica" because of the streamilined body, was built in few units between 1937 and 1938.
One of these specials won the under-1,500cc sport class at the 1938 Mille Miglia, driven by Luigi Villoresi.
