At the 2008 Geneva Motor Show Hyundai will unveil the HED-5 Concept, a six-seater low-emission MPV vehicle that will showcase advanced materials and innovative construction techniques.

Developed in co-operation with partners such as Recaro, Bayer and LG, the Hyundai HED-5 six seat MPV will focus on versatility and fuel economy, and will showcase advanced materials and construction techniques.

A new package of innovations allow for a reduction in CO2 emissions of up to 29 percent, without a significant increase in price, and maintaining performance or driving enjoyment. According to Hyundai this will be a “near production” package.

The HED-5 Concept will debut at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show together with the facelifted 2008 Matrix mini MPV, which will feature a revised exterior styling with a contemporary new look and a renewed range of colours, as well as an updated interior.
