Lancia Delta HPE Concept
Lancia has released the official images and information on the Delta HPE Concept Car, presented at the Venice International Film Festival. It is inspired by the 1970's Beta HPE.

Lancia Delta preview
Lancia has unveiled the first images of the new Delta, that will debut at the Geneva Motor Show and will go on sale in mid-2008. The design is based on the Delta HPE Concept presented in 2006.
According to Lancia, the Delta will mark the beginning of a new philosophy for the brand, that will combine elegance with innovation.
The new Delta was designed by Lancia Style Center and features generous dimensions (4,5 m in length, 1,8 m in width and 1,5 m in height) that together with the wheelbase of 2,7 m allow for an ample interior space.
The interior is focused on comfort and communicates a quite and bright athmosphere, also thanks to the large glass areas. The rear bench can slide longitudinally and features a reclining back.
The engines will offer power outputs ranging from 120 up to 200 hp. The units will be coupled with six speed gearboxes - either manual or automatic.
Technical highlight will include the ESC system (Electronic Stability Control) and the SDC - suspensions with electronic damping control.
The Lancia Delta will debut at the 78th Geneva Motor Show and will be launched in mid-2008.
