The Renegade Concept is a B-segment two-seater off-road vehicle that will be unveiled by Jeep at the 2008 Detroit Motor Show. Among the features are the hybrid powertrain and a sporty rugged design.

The rugged design features a cut-down speedster windshield, a roll bar, openings in the door lowers and a hose-out interior.

The environment-friendly powertrain a 40-mile lithium-ion battery pack and a small-displacement BLUETEC diesel engine. The resulting average fuel consumption is more than 110 miles per gallon.

It will be unveiled by Chrysler Group at the 2008 Detroit Motor Show together with the Dodge Zeo Concept and the Chrysler ecoVoyager Concept.
