At the 2008 Detroit Motor show Chrysler will unveil the ecoVoyager concept, a four-passenger car with a one-box layout that features electric propulsion with lithium-ion batteries and a small fuel cell.

Chrysler ecoVoyager Concept - design sketchThe ecoVoyager Concept is a four-door, four-passenger vehicle that combines some styling cues from the 2007 Chrysler Nassau Concept with an environment-friendly powertrain.

It features a "distinctively American design" targeted to "customers seeking elegance, simplicity and serenity".

The one-box layout is combined with an advanced lithium-ion battery pack, along with a small, advanced hydrogen fuel cell that serves as a range extender: the total range is more than 300 miles.

The ecoVoyager will debut at the 2008 Detroit Motor Show in January.
