Milan-based PRM Design company has organized a yearly Course in Car Design, aimed at the creation of a convertible concept car, which will cover all the developments stages, from market analysis to the final scale model.

Al Fresco - Car Design Master CourseThe brief has been already fixed and focuses on the creation of a new convertible ("Al Fresco" means "fresh-air" inItalian), innovative in terms of design language and interaction between car-users.

The exterior and interior design of the concept will be developed around the pleasure and luxury ideas.

"Projects will be developed under the guidance of a professional car designer following all the steps: Market analysis, 2D sketches, CAD 3D model, milling of 1:5 scale model, degree show."

At the end of the course each designer will receive a 1:5 milled scale model, and a degree show will give the chance to meet managers and designers from the Automotive, Fashion and Technology industries.

"The didactic formula is training on the job with a mix of theoretical lessons and practical activities to understand and align with markets trends and user needs."
