Defined by Hans-Jürgen - managing director of Abt Sportsline - as "a uniquely beautiful car and thus a real challenge for us," the AS5 tuned by ABT exhibits an original two-color body that gives a racing and hi-tech look.

The body kit includes a front skirt with a grid element which emphasizes the single-frame grille and the fog lights, the slightly curved, laterally mounted body parts and the sleek gill-shaped air-inlets, as well as the well-proportioned rear.

The rear end is characterized by a small spoiler and a diffuser-like style skirt inset. The new exhaust system features 4-pipe rear muffler.

The 3.0 TDI engine now delivers 272 hp (200 kW) compared to the standard 240 hp (176 kW). With an extra turbo charger, the power even increases to 300. Tuning kits for the other Audi A5 engines will be available later.

The ABT AS5 also features tuned sporty suspension and a new brake system with 380 mm discs. The AR wheels, recommended by the tuner, are available sizes from 18 to 20 inches.
