The Smart ForFamily Concept was created by Simone Frattasi (Rome) for his final university degree.

The project brief was to create a vehicle which provided original solutions to the urban problems such as air pollution, noise pollution, lack of parking areas, effective use of the interior space.

The ForFamily is equipped with four in-wheel electric motors which, in combination with an all-wheel steering system, enable the car to move sideways and rotate 360 degrees around itself.

The battery pack is located beneath the floor-pan, and the special panoramic roof, made of Makrolon, can change its opacity and color.

The large cabin, currently under development, can be easily accessed thanks to the reverse opening back doors.

The project included marketing analysis and technological researches.
