The Tribun Concept is a design study inspired by the original Vector supercars. The author is Stefan Schulze, a German designer who won the 2004 edition of the Peugeot Design Contest.

Tribun Concept by Stefan SchulzeThe Tribun Concept was created as a tribute to the original Vector W8 supercar, which was designed by Gerald Wiegert and David Kostka, and was produced by Vector Aeromotive Corporation from 1989 to 1993.

Some time ago Stefan Schulze was contacted by Vector and asked to create a modern Vector supercar, by adapting the original design elements to modern trends.

As the article on German magazine Classic Driver explains, the Tribun Concept is the third and final design step in this process. Some previous designs can be found on the website www.v8-turbo.com and on Serious Wheels.

The sharp edges and geometric surface have some reminescences of the typical Lamborghini styling cues.

As Stefan reports, the engine could be V8 Tdi or the or the upcoming V12 Tdi spotted on the Audi Q7.
