Created in a very short time (120 days in total), the Sbarro Turbo S20 makes extensive use of components borrowed from a wide range of production modes, from Mercedes-Benz for the engine, to the Smart Roadster and Fiat 600 for some interior details.
The technical features include a 5 liters V8 engine, mounted in central position and delivering 350 CV, wing doors, rear wheel-drive and large-sized wheels (19-inches at the front and 20-inches at the rear).
The '20' in the name derives both by the design school's 20 years of life and by the number of students (20) who have worked on it..
The 'Turbo' name comes from the French TV programme "Turbo", broadcasted by M6 Network, which took part in the development process.
