The name derives from the shooting-brake hatchback body that has some reminescences of the Clio Grand Tour Concept.

The design features an European style and a modern interior. Previous design studies by Chery's included the Lui and Lei Concepts, created by Torino Design Italian studio.

Together with the Shooting Sport Concept, at the Shangai Auto Show Chery will have on display other two concept vehicles and a range of 30 models.
