According to Quattroruote, the Alfa Romeo Junior will be produced starting from the beginning of 2008 at the Turin-based "Mirafiori" plant - the same of the Fiat Punto, from which the new Alfa Romeo will borrow the platform.

If this turns out to be true, for the Italian Manufacturer it will be an important return to the compact spotscars segment, where it has been absent since 1987, with the end of the Alfasud Sprint production.
