An image from the "Photoshop Tape Drawing" tutorial DesignerTechniques is a brand new website that promises to become one of most valuable resources for car design students and enthusiasts.

As its creator Allan Macdonald explains, "My intention [...] is to create a leading database of information that will help teach students of design, and give advice on how to become an automotive designer."

At the moment there are already several tutorials available, all of them providing high quality tips on various subjects, from traditional drawing to digital sketching.

Another interesting feature is the "Designers" section, where visitors will have the opportunity to read the stories and career paths of today's professional designers.

In addition to this, to celebrate the launch of the website a design competition will be started soon, and CarBodyDesign will keep you informed about this event.
