The Triennale di Milano hosts the "Czech 100 Design Icons" Exhibition. Skoda, that in 2005 has celebrated 100 years of history, is present with some historic cars and the recent Roomster concept.
For the Czech Manufacturer 2005 was a record-year both for the 100th anniversary and for sales, with 492,111 units sold (+10% comparing with 2004).
Now it is present with some significant cars at the "Czech 100 Design Icons" at the Triennale di Milano (Italy).

The exhibition will display a selection of 100 products - furniture accessories, toys, cars - that represent milestones in the Czech lifestyle of the latest 100 years, thus becoming "design icons".
Skoda displays the 1936 Popular Coupé Montecarlo, with its futuristic aerodynicamics, the 1959 Felicia, one of the best selling models thanks to its elegance, and the 1970 110R, one of Czech people's most dreamed Sportcars with a successful racing past.

2003 Skoda Roomster Concept |
Together with these historic vehicles, Skoda has on display the Roomster Concept, presented at Frankfurt Motor Show in 2003, and which serced as a basis for the new Roomster series model.
The rich 280-pages catalog is published in English, Czech and German and deals with the different eras in the Czech Design history, with riflessions about architecture, fashion, cinema, social and political events. The final section includes a collection of typical Czech recipes.
