Designed by Mitsubishi Design Europe, the Concept-EZ MIEV is a 'urban capsule' that demonstrates the benefits of the Mitsubishi In-Wheels Motor Electric Vehicle (MIEV) technology. It will debut at the 2006 Geneva Motor Show.

Following the Concept-CT MIEV vehicle, the Concept-EZ features the exclusive MIEV system, with four in-wheel electric motors, each of them delivering 27hp, for a total output of 108hp.

The motors are housed within the wheel hubs, and are powered by a lithium-ion battery pack located beneath the floor.

Even if the Concept-EZ is compact in dimensions (length of 3,700 mm), it offers a large usable internal space. The roominess is enhanced by the use of a retractable steering wheel, drive-by-wire technology and intelligent folding seats.

It was created by Mitsubishi Design Europe and will have its world premiere at the 2006 Geneva Motor Show.
