The Suzuki Ionis is an original fuel-cell minicar designed to offer significant performance in terms of form and function.
According to Suzuki, the Ionis concept is designed to convey an image of water: seen from the outside this effect is achieved by means of the deep blue color, which is matched by the blue headlights both in the front and in the rear end of the vehicle.
This chromatic combination, together with the fish-like face suggested by the front headlights and grille, reminds of some kind of deep sea creature.
The roof features an original layout, with two long and narrow transparent surfaces that connect the windshield and the rear window, creating a surrounding glass frame.
Passengers can easily enter the cockpit thanks to the large sliding doors and the perfectly planar floor-pan.
The passenger compartment features a high-tech style that combines dark brown colors (leather seats and wooden floor) with satined metal trims and numerous blue lights.
Its cleverly designed platform allows for the fuel cell unit to be located beneath the cabin floor.
Other technologies that further enhance enjoyment include an advanced entertainment system that allows passengers to download music via wireless Internet access and to watch satellite TV.
