Wayne Burgess sketches the Jaguar F-Type

The third episode of Road & Track’s “The Five Minute Car” video series features Jaguar Production Studio Director Wayne Burgess who sketches and explain the lines of the F-Type.


The video is the third episode of “The Five Minute Car”, a series launched last year by Road & Track magazine, featuring professional designers who create – and then destroy – a car sketch it.

In just five minutes Wayne Burgess explains the main design elements of the Jaguar F-Type, giving some interesting insights on the visual devices used by car designers to face production constraints.

The first two episodes – reported below – featured Ian Cartabiano, Studio Chief Designer at Calty Design Research, and Tom Matano from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.
