Rinspeed microMAX Concept: updates
New images and a video on the Rinspeed microMAX concept, the compact, short-distance vehicle with upright seats set to debut at the Geneva Show.
The original idea for the microMAX concept was inspired by the concept of “power of intelligent collectives” exposed in Frank Schätzing’s novel “The Swarm”.
The goal of the project is to propose a new mobility system that merges personal and public transportation.
The main feature of the vehicle is the height of almost 2.2 meters, which allows the installation of space-saving upright seats equipped with a custom- developed safety belt system from TRW.
The onboard equipment includes an advanced connectivity system, with a custom smartphone app, a coffee maker and a refrigerator.
microMAX is equipped with an all-electric vehicle powered by a forklift drive system from Linde Material Handling.
