Citroën Technospace Concept preview
Citroën has revealed the first images of the Technospace Concept, a designs study that previews the upcoming compact MPV set to go on sale in late 2013.
The design of the Technospace is characterized by syling cues borrowed from the recent DS models.
The proportions combine a relatively compact size (length: 4.43m/width: 1.83m/height: 1.61m) with generous interior space and class-leading luggage capacity (537 Liters VDA).
Among the design elements are the large greenhouse, with thin pillars and an extended windshield, the clamshell hatch, the door-mounted side mirrors and the chrome-finished ‘sabre’ insert defining the side windows frame contour and 3D-effect tail lights inspired by the latest Citroën concept cars.
The use of the Efficient Modular Platform 2 (EMP2) allows to achieve a record CO2 emissions level of 98g/km.
The onboard technologies include a full-touch driving interface with a high-definition 12’’ panoramic screen. The concept will be revealed at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.
