Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series: Clay Modeling video

Mercedes-Benz has published time-lapse video that shows the clay modeling process of a full-scale SLS AMG Black Series, the new high-performance version of the SLS.


The video – reported below – shows the final stages in the development of a full-size clay model, inclugding the application of the Dynoc film for evaluating the final reflections on the body surfaces.

The SLS AMG Coupé Black Series is powered by a AMG 6.3-liter V8 engine delivering 464 kW (631 hp) at 7400 rpm and thanks to the weight of 1550 kilograms, achieves a power/weight ratio of 2.45 kg/hp. The 0-100 km/h acceleration takes 3.6 seconds.
