Computer Graphics Master Academy (CGMA) has announced a live webinar with concept designer and former Volkswagen designer Patrick Faulwetter. The event will take place September 8 at 3PM PST.

In this webinar, Patrick Faulwetter will talk about how he transitioned from working as an Automotive Designer to an Entertainment Designer and what were the challenges working in both industries.

Patrick Faulwetter

Patrick graduated with honors from the Transportation Design program at Pforzheim University in 2006.

After having gained car design experience in four countries with Brands like Porsche, Renault and Bugatti, he started his career as an exterior designer at Volkswagen/ Audi Design Center California where he was responsible for designing the Nanospyder, Biorunner and award-winning Slipstream concepts.

Soon after, he shifted his focus on working for the entertainment industry. Ever since, he has worked for clients such as Blizzard, Electronic Arts, Rhythm and Hues and Imagi to name a few.

Patrick designed and illustrated vehicles, props and environments for motion pictures like “Gatchaman”, “Priest” and recently worked on “Jack the Giant Killer”.
