Lexus LF-Gh Concept
Lexus has released new official images and information on the LF-Gh Concept, the hybrid sedan that combines premium features with an eco-friendly powertrain and design elements that will be adopted on future models.
At the 2011 New York Auto Show Lexus will unveil the LF-Gh concept.
This luxury sedan features an evolution of the brand’s L-finesses design language – introduced in 2001 – and offers a bold projection of a possible future premium model.
According to the Japanese carmaker, some “original ideas included in the new concept may migrate to future Lexus production models.”
Among the distinctive elements are the “spindle” front grille, the long greenhouse and the minimal side view cameras that visually contrast with the bold body volumes.
The hybrid technology is underlined by the Blue LED L-shaped daytime running lights and the badges on the front grille and on the trunk lid.
The rear doors have a distinctive cutline, with a kink in correspondence with the side fixed window, a styling cue already present – even if less accentuated – on several production models and on the LF-Ch unveiled at the 2009 Frankfurt Show.
The rear end is characterized by the sharp lines of the tail lights and the sculpted, triangular exhaust pipes.

Very nice. But the overall volume and rear styling is reminiscent of the BMW 5-series.
