Reptile Hybrid Concept

The Reptile Hybrid Concept is a design study of a two-seater lightweight sportscar with open wheels and a hybrid powertrain with a Wankel engine. The author is Arturo Ariño.


Designed with the goal of creating a lightweight racing car also suitable for road use, the Reptile Hybrid Concept features an open-wheels layout with an essential, sporty interior with two seats.

The hybrid powertrain combines a 2.7 liter rear-mounted Wankel engine with a 4-pole electric induction motor.

The rear spoiler and the side wings are integrated into a single element with an enveloping red-colored surface that guides the air flows and provides a visual contrast with the white body.
