UED Workshop – Car design drawing techniques
On 18 February 2011 Pescara-based UED will be hosting a workshop held by designer Michele Leonello and dedicated to drawing and presentation techniques in the industrial design and transportation design fields.
The “Professional training for designers” 1-day workshop will run from 9AM to 6PM and will cover design techniques for traditional media, ranging from pen and pencil sketches and drawings to marker renderings with Copic and Chartpak markers.
The morning session will cover drawing theory, with a showcase of images and techniques and a live demonstration.
In the afternoon session, participants will work on an assignment with the personal supervision of Michele Leonello.
The event will take place on 18 February 2011 at the UED (Design European University) in Montesilvano, near Pescara, Abruzzo, Central Italy.
This is the first event of this kind in the area – transportation design classes and courses are usually held in Northern Italy – and it will be good opportunity for aspiring designers who live in the central and southern regions of Italy.
The same workshop has been already held in several Milan-based reknown design schools.
The registration fee is €20. Participation is free for UED students.
